Welcome to the Vintage Collector Website!

I just started this site a few weeks ago as of February 21st 2012 (that is why there is little content). Here is a little bit about me and my family. I am 33 and my wife Meredith is 31. We have 3 small children. Meredith and I started an antiques shop 7 years ago. I became an auctioneer 6 years ago. We have a broad range of knowledge, as we have sold a wide range of items. This site is devoted to answering the typical basic questions that I answer very frequently to those that like old things, but aren’t “in the business”. We also seek to help younger collectors or enthusiasts to get involved and have some of the basic questions that they may have answered. To the seasoned or veteran collector or someone “in the business”, this site may seem a bit basic. However, I encourage you to add information from your area of expertise.
